US Division of Agriculture, Kentucky indicators settlement for native meals procurement program

The U.S. Division of Agriculture (USDA) introduced Wednesday that it has signed a cooperative settlement to permit the Kentucky Division of Agriculture (KDA) to acquire meals via the federal Native Meals Buy Help Cooperative Settlement Program.

The transfer permits KDA to buy and distribute regionally grown, produced and processed meals via underserved producers.
